The Cancer Center of Idaho (CCI) team approach is simple: We use state of the art technology and techniques for radiation therapy, provide comfortable surroundings for our patients, and offer a personal approach that meets both the physical and emotional needs of each of our patients. We strive to make a difference with each and every patient by combining the latest in cancer treatment technology with personalized, compassionate care. The Cancer Center of Idaho has become recognized as a superior alternative to conventional hospital care.
Our office provides patients with comfort and convenience.
Our office was designed specifically to accommodate patients and their needs in a comfortable surrounding. It feels more like a home rather than a hospital.
To reduce the claustrophobic feeling that patients sometimes feel in radiation treatment facilities, we have included extra space in the rooms containing the IMRT and CT scan equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: I have other health concerns beyond my cancer. Will you work with my other care providers to coordinate treatments?
Answer: Yes. Even though our specialty is radiation treatment, we take a holistic approach to your needs. We will work very closely with you, your family, and
your other care providers to make sure that the treatment we provide aligns with your other needs. We will involve other professionals, including other physicians, pharmacists, dieticians, home health, hospice or professional counselors at your request or as needed for your treatment.
Question: Do you accept the same health insurance as my other care providers?
Answer: Yes. We accept most insurance carriers, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. No one will be denied treatment, there is always a way to work out payment.
